In this section you can find some important information and issues you should consider before you plan for Finland studies. Finland has one of the most advance educational systems. Finland offers lots of opportunities for international students. Study in Finland offers you wide range of programs at Bachelor, Master and PhD level. After studies students can opt for 5 years work permit if your degree has been finished successfully in Finish University. For an international student Finland is an exotic and safe target country.

Application Period
Bachelor

January-February: Application for bachelor’s studies starts for autumn term.

August –September: Application for bachelor’s studies starts for spring term

Master

Master program classes start each year in August. Be an early bird if interested in Finland at Master level.

No Tuition fee
Education is almost free in Finland at Bachelor, Master’s and PhD level however student needs to cover living expenses such as food and accommodation.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available in Finland at all level of degrees program. This may be finding with International organization and foundations. Please contact NACT team for further information.
IELTS/TOEFL
English proficiency test from recognized body is compulsory before you can be accepted into degree programs.
Working
Part time work during your studies can be valuable work experience and is one of the things employers tend to look in graduates entering the labour Market. International students can work part-time during studies and full time during weekends or holidays.
Accommodation
International office in selected educational institution provides information about student housing options. We apply for student housing well in advance to save admitted student from the long queues. The average monthly rent for a single room is approximately 160€.
