Studying abroad in Japan is also an investment that’s likely to pay off. The strong selection of universities, good employment prospects and high quality of life make Tokyo ranked the world’s third best city for international students. Japanese higher education system differs from higher education in most other countries in many significant ways. Key differences include the method of acceptance, which relies almost entirely on one or two tests, as opposed to the usage of GPAs or percentages or other methods of assessment.
Applying for admission following documents are required:
For Bachelor’s degree:-
Matric and F.Sc. DMC and Certificate with minimum 60% marks.
For Master’s degree:-
All educational Documents transcript and degree with minimum 2.5% or equivalent 60% marks.
Scholarships:-
In Japan, different universities provides scholarship for international students like APU (Asian Pacific University) provide 30-100% scholarship .There are also external scholarships you can apply through various organizations.
Working
Students are allowed to 27hr/week while studying and are allowed to work full time on weekends.
After Study Permit:-
Visa extension possible up to 6 months after graduation.
Settlement:-
Many PR (Permanent Residence) option available in Japan.
